Glen Waverley Primary School, situated in the heart of Glen Waverley, is a diverse, multicultural school, providing high quality teaching and learning for primary age students, with emphasis placed upon the traditional curriculum areas of literacy and numeracy. CARE GROUPS
Care groups are held each alternate Friday. Based on the “Tribes’ student welfare support model, the program aims to build social and interpersonal skills in children. The groups are multi-aged with a mix of students from all year levels and with a “teacher / leader”. Further briefings about the program are planned for parents. ASSEMBLIES
With the introduction of our Care Groups this year on each alternate Friday, Assembly will now take place every other week to Care Group.Dates are on the Calendar above. Parents are extended a warm invitation to attend the whole school assemblies.
